Meet the BMA Inc. USA
We are a U.S.-based organization of dedicated physicians and allied healthcare professionals united by our strong ties to the Visayan region. Through our annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) meetings and heartfelt social gatherings, we cultivate genuine camaraderie and strengthen connections with one another’s families.
One of BMA’s core missions is to give back to our beloved Philippines. We are proud to provide charitable services, including medical missions that offer essential consultations (Adult, Pediatric, and OB-GYN), minor surgical procedures, dental and optical services, and free medications to those in need.
Our commitment to improving healthcare extends beyond consultations. We have donated crucial medical equipment, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, dialysis machines, surgical supplies, and AEDs, to government hospitals. We also donated an ambulance to the town of Badian, which proved critical during the pandemic.
In line with our pioneering spirit, we took it a step further by helping build a Gawad Kalinga Village in Talisay, Cebu, providing 25 homes for impoverished families and a school facility for preschoolers, making us one of the first Filipino medical associations to undertake such a meaningful and impactful project.
On June 3, 2025, we celebrated the inauguration of the BMA Legacy Health Charity Clinic in Talamban, Cebu City, followed by a highly successful three-day medical mission. After nearly two years of tireless searching and negotiations, we opened the doors of the BMA Charity Clinic to those in need in partnership with Talamban Caritas. A heartfelt thank you to SILP PPC for helping make this project a reality. Their support and commitment have been instrumental to our success. Together, we can make a difference.
This clinic embodies hope and was made possible by the unwavering support of our dedicated members and the generous contributions of our donors. We remain devoted to transforming lives by offering essential medical services to those who need them most. And this is just the beginning. Plans to expand our services even further are already in motion.
