The Bisaya Medical Association Inc. USA (BMA), in partnership with the San Isidro Labrador Parish Caritas, organized the highly anticipated Medical Mission 2025, from June 5 to 7, 2025. This three-day outreach event brought free, quality healthcare to the people of Talamban and nearby areas. The mission ran daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and was hosted at Academia de San Isidro Labrador – Talamban. Hundreds of patients, especially those with limited access to medical services, benefited from this outreach.
This initiative provided a wide range of medical services, including general consultations, dental check-ups, gynecological consultations, vision screenings, minor surgeries, and circumcisions. Additionally, patients received free medications, ensuring that treatments extended beyond just diagnosis to provide real relief and care.
The success of the medical mission was due to the combined efforts and generosity of BMA Inc. USA members, volunteer local doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals and the active involvement of the Parish Caritas. Their collaboration highlighted a shared commitment to improving lives through health and service.
For many, especially those from remote mountain barangays, the mission was more than just a medical event—it was a lifeline. Grateful beneficiaries expressed heartfelt thanks for the initiative, which not only addressed their immediate health needs but also restored hope and dignity through compassionate community care.
