Bisaya Medical Association Inc USA Together with SILP Caritas Opens Its Doors to Serve the Community

Last June 3, 2025, the Bisaya Medical Association (BMA Inc. USA), in partnership with San Isidro Labrador Parish Caritas – Talamban, officially inaugurated the BMA Legacy Health Clinic—a milestone initiative dedicated to serving patients and individuals who are financially challenged. The clinic was established to provide accessible, compassionate, and quality healthcare services to those who need it most.

This clinic is the result of years of hard work, planning, and unwavering commitment from both BMA and the parish community. It stands as a testament to what dedicated collaboration can achieve in addressing long-standing healthcare gaps. The inauguration was graced by local government officials, Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) officers, and BMA representatives, who came together in unity to celebrate the opening of this much-needed facility. It is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, offering medical consultations and basic health services to underserved members of the community.

As of today, the clinic has already begun serving patients, many of whom have expressed heartfelt gratitude for the services being provided—especially those from remote mountain barangays who have long struggled to access affordable medical care. The BMA Legacy Health Clinic not only brings hope and healing, but also strengthens the community’s belief in the power of compassion and shared responsibility.
